Godly Play Core Training

Event date: Saturday, February 03, 2018, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Location: Islington United Church, 25 Burnhamthorpe Rd., Etobicoke

Godly Play is a Christian approach to biblical story telling that seeks to connect the stories of God's people with a child's own experience and relationship with God. The goal of Godly Play is to show how to be open to the Holy Spirit, the Creator and the Redeemer, all at once and all the time in every place.

Hosted by the Islington United Church and Co-sponsored by Emmanuel College Continuing Education, this series of Godly Play Commuter Trainings is designed to allow you to experience and tell Godly Play stories and learn how to set up and manage a Godly Play space and session.

This is the first of three training sessions. The second takes place March 3 and the third April 21.

The training is led by Amy Crawford, an accredited teacher and trainer of Godly Play, and Maya Landell, who is the Minister at Islington United and has been using Godly Play for the past 15 years.

Registration is required and can be done here.
