Emmanuel College invites you to the launch of The Pluralist foundation and the release of their first educational video. Co-produced with SJR, one of the country’s leading communication firms, this video campaign hopes to educate Canadians on the dangers of Islamophobia and seeks their support to strengthen our country’s pluralism.
We will also hear from Jasmin Zine, Professor of Sociologyand Muslim Studies at Wilfred Laurier University and Roohi Ahmed, Chair of ThePluralist Board.
Emmanuel College is co-hosting as part of our renewed vision of the Centre for Religion and Its Contexts which hosts conversations on the global, Canadian, and local contexts, both urban and rural, that shape religious communities. Its programming attends especially to the implications of living, studying, and exercising leadership in multi-faith settings. This event serves as a wonderful opportunity to connect those who share such passions.
