Graduates can read or research the history of a topic using journals from as early as 1908 to the present, drawing from over 285,300 articles and book reviews. ATLAS materials cover such topics as Bible, archaeology and antiquities; human culture and society; church history, mission and ecumenism; pastoral ministry; world religions and religious studies; and theology, philosophy and ethics.
Alumni/ae can access the ATLAS catalogue through Emmanuel’s online alumni community at www.alumni.utoronto.ca/emmanuel. Registration with the alumni community is required in order to create a user account that can then access the ATLAS catalogue.
The Lilly Endowment funded project to provide Alumni/ae access to ATLASerials has ended. Emmanuel College has agreed to pay the subscription cost for one more year (May 2014-May2015). If Alumni/ae would like continued access to this resource after May 2015, Emmanuel College requests that donations be made to help cover the annual cost. Donations may be made to the Alumni/ae office at Victoria University, or the Principal’s office at Emmanuel College, and should specify that these donations are for “ATLASerials Access for Alumni/ae."
