The French for ministry courses have been developed within the frame of the Advancement of bilingual ministry program by the United Theological College. The courses aim at consolidating existing French language skills and offering the necessary terminology for ministry related work within the United Church of Canada. Specific church vocabulary like expressions for liturgy, administration, pastoral care and Christian education will be presented and practiced.
The level 2 course is for intermediate French speakers. It offers grammar exercises, vocabulary review and practice of conversation in preparation for the Certificate in Bilingual Ministry. Students need a solid basic knowledge of French to be able to fully participate in this intermediate course. Therefore the successful passing of an entrance evaluation is required. Evaluation times will be offered in the fall.
