You are invited to join us for the third in a series of workshops with Eric Law that push you to think beyond your church's current boundaries and open ways to create rich, sustainable missional ministries.
Saturday November 8, 2014 10:00-4:00 pm Eastern Time
& Sunday November 9, 2014 10:00 - 4:00 pm Eastern Time
Eric Law returns to Toronto in November to continue his exploration of "Holy Currencies. In March Eric Law introduced the concept of "Holy Currencies", and invited participants to consider how enhancing Relationships in our congregations can lead to powerful changes in our missional ministry. In May he introduced he introduced the curerncies of Gracious Leadership, Wellness and Truth.
In November he returns to explore two more "Currencies" in the Cycle of Blessings and help teams who have been engaged in the full 8-month program as well as others, pull together their learnings and practice and prepare a plan for their congregation or ministry setting. Individuals and smaller teams are welcome to attend this final session.
As in the previous workshops, the goal is to help us imagine and implement ministries that are both missional (reaching beyond our current members), and financially sustainable.
Who Should Attend
These events were originally designed for congregational teams, who are invited to work with a local facilitator on a series of "homework assignments" between meetings, so that they emerge from the full 8-month program with very tangible changes to their ministries.
But we know that not everyone can be a part of a congregational team, and so we're inviting individuals to attend the conferences, or to watch online, even if they aren't currently part of a team that's actively doing the homework. If you're interested in Eric's ideas, and wondering about the difference they might make to your congregational ministry, come join us for the main events!
