Keynoters include:

Phyllis Tickle, founding editor of the religion department at Publishers Weekly in the United States, is author of more than two dozen books, including the recently published The Words of Jesus: A Gospel of the Sayings of Our Lord and The Divine Hours, a series of manuals for observing fixed-hour prayer. A lector and lay eucharistic minister in the Episcopal Church, Tickle is a senior fellow of the Cathedral College of Washington National Cathedral.

Marina Nemat whose memoir of her life in Iran, Prisoner of Tehran, published in Canada in April 2007, and in 28 other countries was described by MacLean’s Magazine as “…one of the finest (memoirs) ever written by a Canadian.” In 2008/2009, she was an Aurea Fellow at University of Toronto’s Massey College, where she wrote her second book, After Tehran: A Life Reclaimed.

Douglas Todd, although raised in a family of staunch atheists, has gone on to become one of the most decorated spirituality and ethics writers in North America. He has received more than 50 journalism honours for his features, analyses, news stories and commentaries. Vancouver Magazine recently referred to him as "arguably Vancouver's most thoughtful journalist." He is the author of two successful books and has been awarded with several major fellowships.

Martha Grace Reese, author of the Unbinding the Gospel book series, is an ordained Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) minister who serves as President of GraceNet, Inc. She has initiated and provided leadership for five major Lilly Endowment grants, all focused on congregational vitality, spiritual leadership, transformation and evangelism in mainline congregations.
