With Anne Simmonds
Friday January 17 & Saturday, January 18, 2014 from 10:00-4:00
Many of us do not like change. Even positive transitions can leave us feeling adrift. When those we love are going through life’s major events or a life-threatening illness, we can feel inadequate to the task of support. This workshop is about developing resilience in living. Grounded in spiritual practices participants will mine life experiences and Religious tradition to deepen wisdom for what lies ahead. This workshops helps normalize experiences of transition and loss by acknowledging and exploring the psychological and spiritual dimensions of significant life changes.
Anne Simmonds is an experienced workshop leader who draws on her 30-year experience as nurse, hospital chaplain, congregational clergy, as a spiritual counselor, workshop & retreat facilitator.
