With Anne Simmonds
Friday April 29 & Saturday, April 30, 2016 from 10:00-4:00
How do we integrate spirituality in our body, or is it already there, longing to emerge? Why do so many of us feel shame in relation to body image and/or our sexuality? This workshop will explore the messages that many have internalized regarding sexuality and body through religious traditions, (specifically the western Christian tradition), and other cultural influences. Our physical bodies matter. They are as sacred and as miraculous as any other part of creation. We will address how attention to the physical body can offer personal healing, integration, and transformation, at a Spiritual level.
Anne Simmonds is an experienced workshop leader who draws on her 30-year experience as nurse, hospital chaplain, congregational clergy, as a spiritual counselor, workshop & retreat facilitator. INFORMATION: Workshop fee is $175.00 + HST and includes lunch. 15% off for two or more from one congregation and students are half price. Deadline for registration April 21, 2016. For further information contact
