2017 Fall and 2018 Winter Registration Instructions
for Conjoint Graduate Students




Only students with a zero balance are eligible to register for the 2017-2018 academic year.



Steps to Registration

1.       Update personal contact info on ACORN

2.       Submit, if applicable, the following PDF-fillable TST form to the college registrar by August 1

a.       Extension to Complete Comprehensive Examinations

b.      Leave of Absence

c.       Program Extension

d.      Thesis Prospectus, General Exam and Proposal Extension Form

e.      Withdrawal

3.       Contact the college registrar by August 1 if all course work has been completed to confirm the following registration status

a.       TSZ 7777HF/HS/YY CONTINUATION OF PROGRAM (time needed to complete courses, examination)



4.       For those at the coursework stage, choose 2017 fall and 2018 winter session courses 

a.       Consult with your supervisory committee

b.      Refer to the most current EM timetable and Toronto School of Theology (TST) website for course descriptions and syllabi

c.       Only 5000-6000 level courses apply

d.      Completed Reading and Research course form(s) must be submitted to the college registrar no later than September 6 (only college registrar can add this after it has been approved)

5.       ADD approved 2017 fall and 2018 winter courses on ACORN between July 25 to August 18

6.       Pay 2017 fall fees no later than December 14

2017 Fall – 2018 Winter Fees


2017 Fall – 2018 Winter Refund Schedule

a.       Eligible recipients of the Admission or In-Course Scholarships will automatically have their fees deferred upon confirmation of course registration on ACORN.  Recipients are expected to clear their balance by April 30.

b.      Recipients of OSAP can request a tuition deferral if they have been approved for government funding and have paid all outstanding financial obligations from previous sessions.

c.       Recipients of UHIP (international students) and/or UTSU Health and Dental Plan (full-time students) must show a status of REGistered on ACORN by August 23 to qualify

d.      Upon payment or deferral, a student’s enrollment status will change from INVited to REGistered

e.       There is a reinstatement fee of $150 per session for a student whose fall or winter session INV status changes to FINanically CAncelled and wants to be reinstated for enrollment.



Students who enrol in courses agree by virtue of that enrolment to abide by all of the academic and non-academic policies, rules and regulations of the University and of his or her academic division, as set out in the divisional calendar, and confirm responsibility for payment of associated fees, and agree to ensure that the accuracy of personal information such as the current mailing address, telephone number, and utoronto.ca email address is maintained.


A student's registration is not complete until he or she has paid tuition and incidental fees, or has made appropriate arrangements to pay.  Students who defer fee payment or whose payment is deferred pending receipt of OSAP or other awards, acknowledge that they continue to be responsible for payment of all charges, including any service charges that may be assessed.  For details visit the UofT Student Accounts website.

7.       Check the Toronto School of Theology (TST) website for any course cancellations between December 18, 2017 and January 4, 2018

a.       Students are permitted to make changes to their course selection up to January 12, 2018

b.       Refer to the 2017-2018 UofT Refund Schedule for important DROP dates and refund implications

c.      Last day to DROP a HF or YF course without Academic Penalty is March 9, 2018
