Emmanuel College is committed to theological education and to providing qualified graduate students with funding to support their program of study in keeping with the principles of academic excellence and fairness.
Graduate Entrance Awards are offered to qualified incoming doctoral students applying for the Doctor of Theology (ThD) program. These award packages range from $1,000 up to the amount of $22,000 CDN per year, and can be held for up to four years of study.
The funding of these awards will consist of one or more of the following funding sources: awards, bursaries, scholarships, or research fellowships.
Research fellowships are awarded to both entering doctoral students and continuing internal doctoral award recipients. Fellows will assist Emmanuel faculty with teaching and/or research as determined.
All funding is contingent on continuous full-time registration status, satisfactory academic performance and fulfillment of funding-related obligations for the fellowships.
