Emmanuel College Music Series

In 2019, an institutional partnership with GIA Publications was developed to produce the Emmanuel College Music Series imprint. This innovative peer-reviewed publication seeks to empower composers and arrangers to substantiate their craft in an academic environment. In addition to excellent technique, musicianship and style, this series emphasizes the pedagogical value of its compositions and their capacity to inspire faith-based and civic communities to reflect the Canadian context and the missional ethos of Emmanuel College.

The inaugural publication of this series features the works of Jason Locke Emm 1T2 and Peter Merrick Emm 1T7. Both are graduates of Emmanuel College’s Master of Sacred Music program.
