Proposals are reviewed by the Centre's steering committee and are due two weeks prior to committee meetings (Sept. 30, Jan. 31 and March 31).

2024 NOV 1-3 | Drag & Spirituality Summit

November 1-3, Emmanuel College, Online and In-person

The Drag & Spirituality Summit is in its second year and is the first-of-its-kind gathering at the intersections of drag and spirituality. Join drag performers and faith leaders from around the globe for a stunning and sacred three-day summit. Feed the spirit and celebrate the body with powerful panel discussions, inspiring practitioner presentations, and—of course—fierce and fabulous performances. The Centre for Religion and Its Contexts is the proud host and co-sponsor of this year’s Summit. Registration opens June 1. Click here for details

 

*Building Accessibility

Emmanuel College (75 Queen's Park Crescent) has an accessible entrance facing Queen’s Park Crescent (the west side of the College). The Museum Subway Station (TTC) is steps away from our front entrance, although the station does not have an elevator, and the escalators are currently not working. The nearest accessible station is St. George (at St. George and Bloor). The chapel on the third floor is accessible by elevator. The accessible/all-inclusive washroom is located on the main floor by the foyer, but there are also washrooms on the third floor.
